Planning permission for Lj’z nightclub was given under the condition of CCTV surveillance surrounding the premises.
The delay in opening has been due to the location of the CCTV surveillance which has moved from the present position on Marks & Spencer’s wall to the pillar outside Wilkinson’s. This enables the CCTV surveillance to cover Britannia Street and both sides of the nightclub.
This requires an agreement accepted by all parties in the covering area; Lj’z nightclub, Wilkinson, Aylesbury Vale District Council and Thames Valley Police.
Until clearance has been agreed by all parties we regret that Lj’z nightclub is unable to open.
We are expecting to get clearance shortly. Once clearance has been given we will inform you with at least two weeks’ notice prior to the opening of Lj’z Nightclub.
